LONG POST ALERT Because I just had the BEST weekend in Las Vegas! For those of you who don't know, I recently turned 21 (woohoo!) so for my birthday my parents took me on a quick trip to Sin City! While we were there we did a little bit of everything that Vegas has to offer. We ate (and drank) like royalty, shopped at stores I normally only dream about, and went out to some of the coolest bars and clubs I have ever experienced. Not to mention our stay at the Palazzo hotel was perfection. Let me tell you, Vegas is anything but casual, everything there is so overdone and extra but that's what makes it so fun!
The first night we were arrived, I was super excited to wear a dress that I have had for a while but haven't had an occasion to wear it util now. The dress is from Peppermayo and I love that it has the choker part attached. I paired it with a trench vest and clear booties which gave it a monochromatic look that I loved! My sister was also looking on point in her Michael Kors jump suit that she paired with her new Rebecca Minkoff cross body and some black strappys.
That night we ate at an amazing Italian restaurant called Lavo where they gave us a free birthday dessert! After that we walked the strip and stopped in different bars and clubs along the way.
The next day we went to an amazing patio at the Wynn hotel and had a few drinks. This patio is so gorgeous because it looks out to a waterfall! Being there just makes you feel relaxed and content.
That night we went to a magic show at the Rio hotel which was so much fun! After that we went to the Voodoo lounge on the roof of that same hotel. There we got a huge drink called the Witch Doctor that is made with dry ice so it steams for a while when you get it. The view from the bar was amazing because you could see all of the lights along the strip!
The last day before heading to our flight we had a wonderful brunch at a restaurant called Bouchon at the Venetian where I got eggs benedict, my favorite! Then we did some sight seeing and window shopping.
Overall an amazing and unforgettable trip! If there's one thing I know about Las Vegas it's that you can't see everything in one trip no matter how hard you try. That being said I'm already planning my next trip;) I am so thankful to have parents that do so much for me! See you next time Vegas!
